Hound's-tongue in Grey Dunes (Cynoglossum officinale)
I like to try and catch the unusual rather than the normal beautiful plants and their flowers. However I did like the flowers of this Hounds Tongue, quite small but beautiful with varied colours. This was photographed early in may this year locally in Formby in the Dune system. Taken with my Pentax K3 and sigma 70mm macro lens at f6.3, 1/125sec, -3/10 EV and ISO 160, handheld, a little above ground level, so was able to use my elbows as support.
